On January 20th, IHPCH’s dance and step team Classified Destruction had their first step competition of the 2023-2024 school year. The step competition was located in Long Island at Brentwood Highschool where a plethora of teams came together to compete for the third, second and first place trophies.

Nevertheless, Classified Destruction implemented numerous hours during lunch periods and afterschool to construct the theme of museum thieves for their performance. The common objective for all members were to assemble it all together from costumes to dialogue to placements to tricks and stunts to show up and show out on what they’re about.  Throughout the practices, the team were in fact exhausted and weary after each and every practice, but with the dedication and persistence within each teammate, they were able to break through and perform with passion and enthusiasm.

Although the team did not place in the competition, this will not silence Classified Destruction. It will only make them chant and step even louder than before.
