Ms. Dossous’ Potato Head additions: the skeleton and computer.On September 29th, the prestigious Potato Head was given Ms. Cassandre Dossous, a 9th and 10th grade science teacher and the Emerald House Leader. She was excited to receive the award. We hope you enjoy her interview:
IHPCH Voices: Who did you receive the Potato Head from?
Ms.Dossous: So, Mrs. Santiago gave me the Potato Head!
IHPCH Voices: Why did Mrs. Santiago give you the Potato Head?
Ms. Dossous : She gave me Potato Head because I was helping her and our new teacher Ms. Maninakis, coming up with some plans for the class, and just like brainstorming and helping them out.
IHPCH Voices: What was your initial reaction to receiving Potato Head?
Ms. Dossous : Well, the way that Mrs. Santiago was describing it, initially it was like kind of shady, and then I realized when, like she kept talking, who she was talking about, so I was like excited.
IHPCH Voices: What did Mrs. Santiago add to Potato Head and how does it represent you?
Ms. Dossous: It was actually pretty creative; she added like a little skeleton on it, and the skeleton had a little computer attached with my name written on it, and then she put makeup on the skeleton; it was like so cute!
